Mark E. Johnson, Executive Director,
is the founder of Brotherhood, Incorporated, a nonprofit community based organization whose primary concern is health services in the African-American community. He is a graduate of the New Orleans public school system and attended Southern University at Baton Rouge.
For the past ten years, Mr. Johnson has implemented the vision of the organization to develop innovative approaches to addressing the HIV and AIDS epidemic in undeserved communities through programs such as HIV prevention, training and education, housing, case management and support services. In 2000, Mr. Johnson served as the chairman of the New Orleans Regional AIDS Planning Council, which administers the Ryan White Title I Care Act Funds and maintains a seat on the Board. Mr. Johnson oversees Brotherhood's Independent Living Housing Units for person with HIV/AIDS and selects, develops, and provides quality control at all construction sites. |

Chentrell M. Comeaux, MPA
Associate Director of Prevention Services
Ms. Comeaux began her career in HIV prevention in 2004 with NO/AIDS Task Force, a New Orleans based non-profit HIV/AIDS prevention organization. At NO/AIDS, she was responsible for the development and implementation of two demonstration programs, Prevention for Positives and Prevention Case Management. Currently, she is the Associate Director of Prevention Services for Brotherhood, Incorporated. In this capacity she is responsible for the implementation of the newly funded Advancing HIV Prevention award. Additionally, she facilitates "HIV 101" during NO/AIDS Task Force AIDS awareness trainings and "Let's Talk About Sex" an interactive prevention education presentation. Ms. Comeaux holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Southern University at New Orleans. She is also an alumnus of the University of New Orleans where she received a Master of Public Administration degree in 2004. Ms. Comeaux is a Native New Orleanian. |
